The owners are great people, made us feel like home. The bed is very comfortable, the room was big and very clean, staff is super friendly and the breakfast is extremely tasty...especially the homemade marmalades 😋. Great stay..I will definitely visit again

This was the nicest place we stayed in Portugal. The house is gorgeous, and every view from the windows felt like a fairy tale. The location is convenient for hiking, with trailheads that are walking distance from the house. The breakfast that is provided is huge, and the bread was fresh-baked. However, I would probably arrive with some groceries for snacks, because the nearest full grocery store is in Seia. I think the only dinner option in town is at the resort, which is excellent and well-priced. The chef came out and gave us her recipe for the rice cooked in orange, which we are looking forward to trying out. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely, and Nuno especially was so helpful. The drive to the house was a little tricky, and he led us there so that we could navigate the turns. He had excellent advice about hiking as well.

When only we arrived, I was thinking - "gosh, I have given 10 points on booking for places far less special than this. What should I give them - 12, 20 or what?". It is really a very special, cozy, well-kept and loved place. We were visiting out of season, so it seems ours was the only occupied cottage. Such serenity, peace, fresh air. The territory is spacious, our cottage was so nicely equipped, nicely smelling. Each detail is well planned and taken care of. Breakfast is great, coffee (and coffee machine) is nice. All the people working here - super friendly and warm. We also lit fire in the fireplace each evening - that's so cozy & great. Also there’s a lot of prepared information about the area (where to eat, what to see) in the room. Most of it in EN, which is very practical for someone visiting region for the first time (such as ourselves). It’s one of those places where you want to come back.

The staff is very frindly and hosting, I felt like I was a guest that had been waited. Hotel administration truly values your stay and comfort and offers room upgrade when they have spare. It is also notable in every detail. Feela like all hotel, service and atmosphere is a guest oriented. The hoter exterior and interior design is decent and minimalistic, made with nature materials and colors, that helps you to relax from eye pollution. The restaurant service and food are great and delicious, I even tried currant (which I haven't been able to find for a long time). Moreover, the location is perfect: you live in a small village in 5star hotel observing picturesque viewes and having beautiful hiking trails nereby.

The house is just super! Not only the location (in the middle of the blueberriesfield) but everything is very new and cosy. Beds were fantastic; we slept so good! Tiago is a fantastic host and the breakfast (which is included) was very good. If you love the countryside, want to relax and have a superview: don´t hesitate.

The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing and the warmth and cozyness of the hotel. Is really a relaxing atmosphere. And they are pet friendly, also super well located to go for hikes around the hotel.

Super hotel, wonderfull location. ( a bit scary to enter the small streets of the village by car but it is manageable and common to typical portuguese villages, especially in the mountains. Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice swimming pools, you can reserve (incl in your room rate) the indoor spa and pool for 30 min in private. Staff are very helpfull and attentive. Our dog got as well a welcom gift. Not far from the hotel you can do some hiking in the forest. A very relaxing stay during our trip to the south of Portugal.

I travelled with my wife and 2 small dogs. The accommodation was located in a beautiful area and great for when you have pets with you. Gina our host was absolutely lovely, very helpful, friendly and approachable for anything you need She is also a fantastic cook. Our breakfast every day was lovely and Gina was willing to do it for whatever time we wanted. All in all a lovely holiday and I would go back!

The host was very friendly and accommodating, we ended up staying 2nights. Every morning he prepared a tasty breakfast, you could choose when you wanted to eat in the morning and it would be all set up. The room was bigger then expected, we had our own bathroom and a big closet. The bed was a little smal for my partner but we slept like a rock! We had our dog Leonberger with us and the host didn't mind, around the property there were a few semi stray dogs and a cat but they where very friendly.
