The place itself is very cosy, with good location. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, always looking to make your stay more comfortable. The food was delicious and made with care, and on some days, when we told them that we'd miss breakfast, because we'd be going out early, they actually packed us breakfast for later or left it in our room. They also offered us a place to dry our wetsuits and leave our surfboards. They were very kind.

I stayed at Alameda Guest House for a weekend getaway and was not disappointed. The hostess, Dona Fatima, is the friendliest person in the world. She even upgraded the room I booked, at no extra cost, just because better rooms were available that night! The house has a special charm: it is an old, well-preserved building with colorful, cheerful decor. The room we stayed in was the size of a small apartment, with a living room and a kitchen with all the usual appliances (microwave, toaster, coffee maker). We didn't stay inside for long enough to use any of these, but it could be a great option for families on longer trips. The breakfast included in the price of the stay was delicious, with several homemade items and fresh juice and coffee prepared on the spot. I hope to return to Alameda Guest House to spend more time. The location is equally incredible, close to the beach, and close to everything worth seeing in Espinho! If you go there, don't forget to enjoy Dona Fatima's hospitality!

I rented the the entire house for a family vacation The property was clean and modern, the pool was heated, a lovely games area with a pool table, very relaxing as you hear the water feature in the fish pond, The best part was the bbq area! We had the most fantastic stay and felt so welcome. The communal lounge and kitchen were a delight, it was lovely to have a chat. The room was spotlessly clean and our dog Ava was made so welcome. We really recommend if you’re in the area stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to spend time with family. The house is lovely and well-equipped, there is also a seat for kids and some beach toys and games to use. The garden is beautiful and you can use the grill there. We loved the location near the lagoon. Really nice and helpful hosts. I will miss this place and hope to come back one day.
