We stayed as a family, it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the nature and with great hosts. The pool and trampoline was really nice, especially the trampoline for our daughter. Our accommodation was nicely decorated, clean and ideal for our stay. The owners made the stay very special and memorable, we enjoyed eating warm figs straight from the trees in their orchard. They also went out of their way to help us as we did not have a car. If you are looking for a beautiful, friendly and peaceful place to relax in the Portuguese countryside then this is definitely the spot.

The caravan had all basic amenities and attention to detail such as table and chairs both inside and outside, washing line and washing up liquid and sponge for dishes. Lovely little swimming pool, perfect for a plunge and very clean. Lovely chill out area with hammocks and seating. Bathrooms were clean, water was hot. Clear communication about the location. Very friendly and helpful owners.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at this converted convent. I chose it as a place to stop on my road trip down the historic N2 highway due to its pet-friendly status. I expected a small plain room, but instead was treated to a beautiful, well-appointed one. I would happily return for a spa stay (they have multiple options on site) or even a few days to explore the area further. My room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. It even included a small balcony. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and I love how they included many of the original features into the design of the property. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and there is ample free parking on the grounds.
