We spent a total of 11 nights at the Viajero Kokopelli in Cusco. We had a wonderful time here and would check in again in a heartbeat! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating! The hostel places great value on cleanliness. Every day the staff came by to clean our room, bring fresh towels and make our bed! This is the highest standard we have ever experienced in a hostel. We are very grateful, this contributed 100% to our feel-good factor! There is free tea in the hostel at all times! The internal bar also has delicious food and great drinks😍 The Viajero Kokopelli is great for meeting other travelers, but also for spending time alone! The pool table and table football were used regularly. Particularly noteworthy is the active leisure program! We took part in the pizza workshop, enjoyed the karaoke night and made our own burgers! In short: we love the Viajero Kokopelli ❤️

We liked everything about this hotel. The service and the breakfast deserve 5*. Rooms are good size and clean, bed and pillows are super comfortable. There is hot water always and it was warm enough. There is a heater in the rooms, but we didn’t need it.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Spirit of the River Lodge! Nestled by the river, the lodge boasts incredible room designs and breathtaking window views that make you feel one with nature. A huge thank you to Rodi and Claudia for making our experience so unforgettable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. Rodi’s tour of the Inca sites was nothing short of extraordinary—his passion and knowledge brought the history and spirit of the area to life. If you can, ask him to be your guide; you’ll gain so much insight and connection to the Sacred Valley! Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. Hugging him was such a unique and heartwarming experience! The lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and cultural immersion. To top it off, Rodi is beginning to organize Inca Trail tours with a big focus on ensuring porters are treated with the utmost care and respect. If you’re looking to explore one of the most unique places on Earth while supporting ethical practices, this is the place to start. We couldn’t recommend Spirit of the River Lodge more highly. We stayed 5 nights at Kosko Casa Hotel. Romulo and Helga love their work, and you can feel it straight away, they make you feel incredibly at home, with positivity and good vibes. They are full of tips about activities, and will share with you pieces of their peruvian culture that are off Radar. Dont miss going around with Romulo if you have the opportunity, you will get some extra knowledge about the area and an overview of the spirit of the place. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, the rooms are designed with taste. It is close from most of the attractions in the surrounding of Cuszco, and from the Temple of the Moon, which is a quiet Oasis of serenity. You can also walk (not a night) on the inca way, to join the city in 20-30 min. To go there is maybe the challenging part (R&H will explain you everything), from our experience its recommended to take an Uber, its way easier, as most of the taxis dont know the ways to go in this part of town, and some doubled the price halfway. At least with Uber you will be sure they find at the right price. R & H kept our bags during our trip to the Machu Picchu, which is so helpful. Thank you friends for making our experience here memorable 🤗 🍀

Estela and her husband are wonderful and greeted us with a smile after trekking to Machu Picchu. Their warmth is a great touch you don't get at most hotels now. They were extremely accommodating holding our bags before we had even checked in. Also, they had hot showers which is difficult to find in Cucso. Highly recommend staying here!!

Everything was perfect, bed was SO COMFORTABLE. It is quiet, I could get some well needed rest. The shower was hot and there is a small heater in the room. It is in the city center.

Great location. Only about two minutes away from the main square. Lots of space for the whole family. Beautiful historic building. My girls loved petting the 2 sweet cats that had free reign of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is located in the center of town with clean rooms and comfortable beds. I had a view of the city lights on the hillside at night. Water and coca leaf tea are available in the lobby to help with the altitude. A tasty home cooked breakfast of eggs, fruit, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt and rolls is included. Each floor has a welcoming sitting area. The hotel is pet friendly with an enclosed garden for your pet to visit.

The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming ambiance. It is located in the center of town, but you can not hear traffic noise. The home-cooked breakfast was lovely. The hotel was sweet to our dog, and there was an inner garden that made traveling with a pet easy. The beds were comfortable and the shower had hot water.
