Everything! The decor, the staff, the atmosphere, the situation, the facilities and the hotel dog 😎. The owner of the hotel even arranged a tv screen for us to watch the Six Nations Rugby so what an incredible place to sit and watch the game looking out onto paradise. Special mentions to Benny and Bekar who made our stay wonderful. Always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. I read before I booked here that some of the service was not good. I found the complete opposite. It was the perfect balance of attention and delivery. We had one of the sea view rooms where we listened to the sea and watched the surfers morning to night. If you are looking for a quiet room where you cant' hear the roar of the sea I'd book one of the garden rooms.

It's a very silent area, sourrounded by nature. You can easily walk to different beaches. The outdoor kitchen and the fridge in the room are perfect for cooking. It's clean and has everything you need. There ist also the opportunity for food delivery. The breakfast was delicious and they changed it every day. The hosts are super kind and helpful. We could also stay longer than the usual checkout, because there was no booking for the following night. Thank you for the great stay!

Together with my 13-year-old daughter I had the pleasure to spend one week in the Pirate Arts Resort on Carenero Island. At first, I was hesitant to fly all the way from Germany to Panama but luckily my daughter insisted. And it was so worth it. Before we even sat foot on the island, we were very well taken care of. Weeks in advance, the managing director sent us a welcome letter which included how to get there, a very nice selection of trips and excursions to do, where to eat, etc. It also included some very practical tips in terms of which insect-repellent to buy and to stop at the local supermarket to buy the snacks you will be craving after dinner. When we finally sat foot on the island it felt like stepping into another world. There was the main house with the restaurant (it was closed when we visited but will be reopened in December and the whole operations will be run by a German chef – funny coincidence) and then there were a couple of separate 2-story houses with apartments in a tropical garden. Oh, that garden. So well maintained and so beautiful. Our apartment had a huge veranda with a table for four, a hammock, some lounge chairs (this is where I enjoyed my morning coffee) and 2 deck-chairs. Ah, and there was a star-fruit tree right in front of our house and we took full advantage of it 😊 On the veranda was a huge ventilator to keep the mosquitos away. Inside the apartment we had a big room with a fully furnished kitchen and living room with lots of books and board games. Our suite had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air-conditioning and ventilators. I also loved the fact that there were flower arrangements on every table and a fruit basket in the kitchen. Yummy. Behind the house was a washing-machine and a dryer – all very convenient. The people working there were very friendly – it felt more like a community. For us it was a great and relaxing experience in the Pirate Arts resort. I was able to fully disconnect in what felt

This place is just awesome! From the moment you step in, you will love it. Chilling on the deck listening to the waves is stunning. Staff was very welcoming. Lockers, sockets and a light are located next to your bed. Free drinking water and welcome drink. I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay again!
