Mr Hilal welcomes you in his cool 4x4 Orange Rubicon Jeep at the pick up point and you know you’re going to have a good time! The camp interiors live up to the photos . Everything is spic and span and even though you’re in the middle of the desert you feel right at home! A clear 5 stars! Speaking of stars , we were lucky to have a clear night and had a beautiful Milky Way display at night!

Staying at this hotel felt like living in the beautiful old Oman era. I absolutely loved the authentic design featuring charming details like wooden roofs, lumber beds, stone sinks, magnificent log reception desk and the massive Castle in the middle.
The hospitality was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly polite, and the reception was open 24 hours, making us feel very cared for. The cafe serves high-quality coffee, I particularly loved the Cappuccino and Mocha.
Breakfast was exceptionally tasty with very fast servicel. I highly recommend ordering the Omani tray it was delicious.

Old heritage house with several guest rooms. It's like living in a museum ! Our host, Raman was very kind and helpful. There is nice little cafe and restaurant in the house which also served our included breakfast. The house is located in the small calm town of Taqah, just in front of the Taqah Castle (that can be visited), the Afif Mosque, some nice restaurants, a supermarket and other small stores, close to the beach. And we could drive to some nove natural and cultural sites nearby. The room is a little small and the wifi was a littl;e weak but we're still giving this hotel a 10; don't change anything ! It was a fantastic experience. We would come back and we recommend this heritage house to everyone.

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids.
The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful.
There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry.
We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

This is our second visit and we travelled from Dubai, the hub of 5* hotels however I can honestly say, the stay here exceeded those hotels. From the incredible fresh breakfast to the expectantly customer service! We will be back again soon !

The ride to the camp (we took a guide in other car; otherwise no way you find it!), was a magnifecent experience! I enjoyed driving over small dunes!
The welcome to the camp, the food, the charm of personel were all great!
Tent itself was simple, and really authentic. We loved it! It could be that a 5 star demanding guest would be a bit dissapointed, but it was what we wanted to be.

Nice hotel, we spent there 2 nights on our travel across Oman. It is expected 3 star hotel.
The staff is helpful, breakfast is ordinary.
The room was a bit dark, but we were there only to sleep, it was ok.
