After a sudden change of plans, I chose the 228Hostel to stay for a couple of nights, mainly to do the Jabal Shams Balcony Walk. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this stay so much! Mahmoud and Marita are amazing hosts, they were helpful and fun to talk to. They organized a nice dinner along with other guests staying one night. It is very refreshing to hear the stories and experiences from all of them. The views from the room and the rooftop are amazing. I highly recommend!

Surrounded by lush trees and greenery, the setting was perfect for those seeking a relaxing getaway. The stay was made even more delightful by the incredibly helpful and accommodating host. Despite our late arrival at midnight, he was quick to respond to our messages and calls, ensuring we had no trouble finding our way. What truly stood out was his dedication—he personally came to the hotel to hand over the keys, making us feel welcomed and at ease right from the start. The property itself had excellent amenities, with the swimming pool being a highlight of our stay. Its location was also very convenient, as it was close to the city, with restaurants and grocery stores easily accessible—just a 2-minute drive away.

The hotel is super cosy and cute. There is tea, coffee and halwa for you to eat. Faisal was a very nice and friendly guy that was always there for you if u needed any help. He can also help you to find a guide or 4wd if you need one.

At first we couldn't find it. But after a phonecall to the number at the bookingreservation, we received the right address. The host was humble, very friendly and we felt really welcome there. Good and simple accommodation with a helpful host. There was a nice outdoor space and there was a well equipped kitchen. Good value for the area.
