The owner is very kind and always available, helping with any questions about treks and transportation. The rooms are very clean, and there is always hot water for showers. The Wi-Fi works very well. The breakfast is delicious, and they even store your backpack for free while you go trekking. I will definitely return to this place!

Really nice community vibe here for travellers to meet one another, with relaxing surroundings, only a short walk to the main streets in Thamel. The restaurant here is also really good and well priced! Staff are great especially the manager Sunny. They can also help to arrange everything for your trekking plans including leaving your luggage there if needed. There is also great views from the roof top. Can’t beat the value for money here! The building is not in the center of Kathmandu, but the distance is compensated by the tranquility of the neighborhood (much less noisy than the center of Kathmandu) and the hospitality of the owners. Mira is also an excellent cook. For example, it makes amazing soups. As Kathmandu's attractions are located in several scattered areas of the valley, it is a good base for exploring the region using an app on your cell phone to call cheap taxis or motorbikes. It is also possible to reach the center of Kathmandu by bus. We ended up staying longer than originally expected. We quickly felt at home. If you need, the hosts also help plan your visit to Kathmandu or other areas of Nepal.
