We loved the cottage, it was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Coby was a great host, she was easy to communicate with and gave us lots of ideas for restaurants, places to visit. The location was perfect for visiting the Kroller Muller Museum. The location was great for us (conference at the new campus/8min by bike through a beautiful landscape), the location within the holiday park couldn't have been better (next to the bar/restaurant and pool area - yet surrounded by nature). The hosts were amazing: very friendly and welcoming and helpful at any request. Bikes were for rent (only 12,50 per day) at the holiday park which was only a 20min walk from the bus stop. So a car-free holiday is definitely possible and we consider coming back!

The house offered exactly what we needed for a two-night stay: we wanted a transit stop, but it became much more than that, enabling us to enjoy the Hoge Veluwe National Park for a full day. Despite being close to the road, the house is located in a quiet area, and we really enjoyed our evening stargazing at the terrace. The village (Otterlo) is very pleasant and has excellent tourist infrastructure, including a well-stocked local Spar (closed on Sundays, but the one in Hoenderloo is open) and a lovely local ice parlour next to the mini-farm. The Park itself did not disappoint, either: we came for the third time and there were still places to explore and see some wildlife (deer), not to mention the convenience of using the free white bikes to move around. We'd definitely like to come back.
