The place is amazing! Everything was fine, the host was in touch and promptly responded to messages and remotely helped with the check-in. The house has everything you need, but you need to take care of food in advance. Beautiful view of the valley and mountains from the balcony. I was in the fall, it was about 0 degrees outside, but the house has a heater, so it was warm.

This family owned hotel is a gem. From when we arrived until we left, we felt as we were visiting some friends as the owner and her sons made us feel like at home. Vladimir, one of the sons, helped us point places that we could explore around the north and, along with the rest of the family, was there to make sure our needs were fulfilled. They were very accommodating in every aspect. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast and meals were home made and delicious, and the property was beautifuly decorated. It is close to many great sights of the north. We liked the horse riding recommended and the walk through National Park Prokletije. My highest recommendation for a relaxing and cozy stay in the north!

Everything was nice. The location is great, very calming and beautiful. The house is big enough and has everything that you might need, including 2 terraces. Owner was super kind and cheerful, we were offered homemade juice which was very helpful on our tracking path in mountains. We were allowed to stay with our dog, the place is petfriendly, it is very important and great option. I can definetelly recomend this place for staying.

The road to Komovi Katun Martinovića 1750 isn’t great, but it’s ok if you take it slowly. Once you’re there, you’re rewarded with a superb mountain setting, comfortable accommodation and really lovely hosts. They made us feel relaxed and at home, even with a language barrier. The restaurant/kitchen is the hub, and it was such a cosy place to relax and unwind in. The food was superb - some people make the drive just to eat here. There’s a couple of hot water showers, power is on from 7-11pm to charge devices and, although there’s no WiFi, you can connect to the host’s if you need to get online.

16 km from Prokletije National Park in Gusinje, Vila Merak features accommodation with access to a hot tub. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 11 km from Plav Lake.
