We enjoyed our stay at Kingfish villa in the month of March 2025. It was a very pleasant time. An optimal location to relax and experience the beautiful beach of Ranna at a distance of ca. 300 m. The owner Raveen is also an amazing person. He is very helpful and knows around Ranna, southern locations of SL and even other locations at wish. Also, there is the possibility to have him as a tour guide. He owns a restaurant as well where the food is exquisite. One can choose a variety of local foods and drinks too. Overall, remarkably good experience.

The best beach we have ever seen! Incredible sunrises and sunsets. The hotel is located in the jungle, so you can see and hear numerous birds and animals including monkeys, peacocks, pelicans. The people are very kind, hospitality is enormous and food is delicious.

After 10 days backpacking around Sri Lanka, Maritime Nest was the perfect place to relax for a few quiet days. The cabanas are newly built, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The gardens and pool are delightful and the food at Panchi restaurant is excellent. The breakfasts, in particular, are delicious and plentiful. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well. Madura, his family and great team of staff were fabulous hosts. Madura made helpful suggestions for local sights and activities and was always responsive to our queries. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Turtle Sanctuary, a mindful and ethical way to experience these amazing creatures. The beautiful almost deserted beach can be reached via a short track and, whilst the sea is too rough for swimming, there is a delightful rock pool nearby. Very highly recommended.​ Thank you to Madura and his team of staff - we wish you every success with your new business.

It is in a very quiet area, 10 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious, very clean, very well ventilated (the air is very clean, not like other accommodations in Sri Lanka). The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. The pool is chic and very clean, the water has a perfect temperature. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help you. They can cook you a delicious, fresh dinner, cooked on the spot, or they can organize various excursions in the area (safari, temple visit, kayaking on the lagoon, etc.). The breakfast is rich and very tasty, with fruit from the owners' garden. The atmosphere in the area is very quiet, there are not many tourists, you can meet locals which gives the place a truly authentic atmosphere.

We loved our stay there and even extended it by one night. The room was comfy, location is close to the beach and turtle center. Open dining area is really nice. You can hang out there which is very helpful especially when it is raining (which happened to us one night). Restaurant service might be slow at times but the food is delicious.

Outstanding view which was right on the beach, close to motor scooter rental, polite hosts who really looked after us. Happy smiling faces, comfortable rooms. The facility was well maintained and had a lovely covered outdoor area for meals.

It’s located in a beautiful peaceful area close to stunning beaches. The garden is lovely and the room is very comfortable and clean. The outdoor bed makes for some wonderful relaxing time. The Property Owner Ravi and his Family ( Wife Chandima and the two daughters) are such a friendly caring Team. The property was top clean and comfortable. Location is super for relaxation with the Lake View. They serve grate fresh seafood in the restaurant. If need arise we will go again.
