If you want a 5 star resort, this is not your place! If you want a river view with birds, a friendly chef/manager and a clean, basic stay- stay here! Fan, air conditioning and a clean room with hot water. No other people were staying; this suited us as we could enjoy the view, birds and relax. The boys organised cold beer for us- ask the price, give them the $ and you have beer. Overall, a great place in a secluded spot. There might be water on the floor after a shower but this. Dies overnight. If this sounds great, go for it! The more expensive places are probably similar but we could have stayed have stayed longer. Thanks to Chef, Manager Akila. Very good spotter of birds and a friendly person with lots of local knowledge.

Lovely balcony. Very clean and comfy. Hosts are lovely people. They offer a great rice and curry as well! Also, of course, it’s incredibly close to the rain forest.

As the name suggests it is located amidst attractive scenery. Badulla my host is a botanist of repute and his rain forest walks are not to be missed. In addition super food and endless helpfulness.

Lovely lovely staff! Both Ana and Sydney are incredible and super attentive. Nestled right in the jungle it is a beautiful tranquil and peaceful place. A bus ride away from Sinharaja rainforest and also a great ambience to just be in peace and be introspective! Ana's banana pancakes for breafast are also increeedible!
