The location was lovely, across from the waterfall, and close to the start of Ella Rock trail. If you want a little secluded cabin in the wilderness, this is the place. We had incredible breakfast every morning, and they were so helpful and provided transport to town whenever we wanted. The service was outstanding and always with a smile! Highly recommend this place.

A new room, nice furniture with attention to detail and equipped with a fridge and waterkettle, nice bathroom. In the morning, breakfast is served on a terrace with junglefeeling. Rich srilankan breakfast is lovely prepared by the mother of the owner. Pasi the owner is a very nice, helpful person. The room is in walking distance to town.

AMAZING !!! Best view in Sri Lanka , sit back relax, enjoying your breakfast or dinner overlooking Ella Rock, litte Adams peak and a waterfall perfect !!! Staff all wonderful and friendly, just a short stroll or a tuk tuk ride down into town. Came for one nite stayed 3. Will definitely come back to Ambiente guest house.

Chotu (Gihan) has created a really good, relaxed, pleasant and comfortable environment. Home Hostel Ella is in a beautiful location surrounded by and lovely views. With the short cut it is easy to get away from the hassle…..oops the hustle and bustle of Ella. Chotu keeps a clean home and provides all one could need in a hostel. He is aware of the needs of vacationers and is happy to give guidance and help. The two toilets and two showers were clean and enough for the size of his hostel. The kitchen is well stocked and kept. Quiet at night which meant 3 good nights sleep. Definitely recommend.
