This property is pound for pound the best value property I have ever stayed in. First of all, the 2 gents that work here are extremely helpful and polite and they went out of their way to ensure my stay here has been perfect - I had originally booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 3 and this is because of their hospitality. The view from the lake view room is beautiful overlooking the pool. The room is spacious, clean and has a fan and ac along with a kettle and towels. The swimming pool is warm and clean and just chilling at the deep end overlooking the lake was blissful in itself. The garden is also maintained to a very high standard. Because of the location there is minimal noise from the outside world and it was a great place to stay and relax after travelling around the Island.

Me and one of my office colleague stayed at house of sincerity for three nights and I must say the place is really comfy. The place is so close to Maharagama town ( just walking distance to Wattegedara junction) and our stay was really great. The room has a pantry with gas cooker, microwave, mini fridge and other cooking stuffs which was really helpful. Akil, the owner is so supportive, friendly and assures the safety of the tenants. Will defenitly choose the place in future as well.

When he found out that his usual taxi driver wasn’t available on the day of arrival, he personally went to the airport to pick up my manager. This level of care and commitment is rare to find and made all the difference in ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Beyond the exceptional hospitality, the accommodation itself is in a fantastic location—just a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach, making it ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy both business and relaxation. I highly recommend this accommodation not only for its comfort but especially for the incredible service provided by the owner. We booked this on short notice 10 minutes before we arrived and were super happy that the owner is so flexible. The accommodation was super clean and really nice. It’s right at the beach and beside a great restaurant. Everything was clean and the host was really friendly. We felt comfortable and great to stay here. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.

I recently stayed and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The service was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The location was also convenient, Lake view and temple was front of my window.. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Aquila to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Wonderful homestay with clean and very comfortable beds. Located at a peaceful neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle but very easy to reach train and bus stops. The homestay has a variery of rooms to choose from and we felt very warm and welcome at this property.

This is a wonderful location for a homestay as its Great place to stay. Perfect balance between the city and quite neighbourhood Comfortable beds and fresh linen Host were very welcoming and gave me a tour of the areas around.
