A picturesque beach with the lighthouse next door. The family-run hotel was clean and comfortable. You can get juice at the restaurant next door or get a cocktail with music on the roof of the hotel next door. The beach is safe for swimming which is not always the case in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this hotel for its price and amazing location. Great AC, fan, comfortable bed, clean, nice decor.

I was especially impressed by the beautifully designed bathroom 🚿✨. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk from Matara Railway Station 🚉. What truly made the stay exceptional was the hospitality of the hosts 🤗. The aunty and uncle who live next door are incredibly kind and always ready to help with a warm smile 🧓👵❤️. I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing place. I am truly happy that it became our first home in Sri Lanka. I came with my children and initially booked the apartment for 5 days, but we ended up extending our stay for another 4 days simply because we didn’t want to leave. Dakshitha was in touch with me on WhatsApp even before our arrival — he answered all my questions and asked what we might need. Every day of our stay was exceptionally comfortable. His family lives on the property, and they are wonderful, kind people who surrounded us with genuine care. This is not just a room — it’s a full townhouse with a private entrance and two large, beautiful bedrooms. Each has everything you need: very comfortable beds, a desk, a mirror, a wardrobe, towels, and a private bathroom. The balcony deserves special mention — it has a beautiful view of the palm trees, and I loved meeting the sunrise and ending the day there, listening to the birds. You also get a fully equipped kitchen with all essentials: dishes, a fridge, a water dispenser — we cooked every day using the air fryer. And the rooftop… it became my favorite place. It’s completely private, spacious, and perfect for yoga at sunrise or under the stars. There is a drying rack upstairs, and the washing machine is on the lower level. An iron and ironing board are also provided. There are air conditioners in each bedroom. Cleaning was done regularly. Honestly, the comfort felt like a 5-star hotel. But the most important part is the host — his excellent English, kindness, and big heart truly make this place special. We are staying in Sri Lanka for a long time, but from now on, I will confidently recommend this place to everyone visiting. Let your love for Sri Lanka begin here :)

The stay was the BEST we had so far in Sri Lanka! Dinu and her family do everything to make you feel at home, if you wish for something they will make sure to make it happen. The location is also really nice and calm, as it is located in the second row, but still very centered only 2 min walk to the main road and 5 min to the beach. From the terrace you have a nice view in the jungle-like garden, where you can even see monkeys play and listen to exotic birds in the morning. And the best yet to come, the rooms are brand new, super clean and equipped with everything you need: AC, nice bathroom, mini fridge, mosquito net, fast WIFI etc. If you stay here, also make sure to have breakfast, it was simply the best, we were completely full because everything was so delicious and a lot Sri Lankan dishes to try out. It is also possible to have professional massages directly at the accommodation as they also have a day spa center here, we didn't have it but a lot of day guests came by. Sorry for gushing, but we really enjoyed our stay as you can tell and we recommend to be quick because as soon as people will know about this new place, it will be booked out for a long time
