A very nice, comfortable, clean place! You have everything you need, plus a fully equipped private kitchenette. It's located on a quiet small road so you don't hear any noise. The bed is massive and very comfortable. There is a TV with Netflix. Highly recommended if you need a place to stay close to Colombo. Great value for the price!

We had booked the homestay for four nights and it was clearly one of the best places we have ever stayed in Srilanka. The owner Mrs. Maleeka is an EPITOME of kindness and she treated us with so much love and hospitality throughout the stay. She has a full time caretaker who stays within the same house and two adorable and friendly dogs. The owner also stays in the same house and the bedrooms with attached bathrooms are given for private use. However the entire common areas including large living room, dining area, TV lounge are all available for use as well. You can also discuss breakfast options with them. The location is about 20 minutes by tuk tuk which was easily available in the main road, which is barely a few metres away. Good options for restaurants as well. It was the perfect stay, thanks to Mrs. Maleeka and we would highly recommend their homestay for both short as well as long stays!

Loved my stay at Alma Hostel! Great location, everything feels new and super high quality. The beds are comfy with privacy curtains, and the whole space is thoughtfully designed. The crew, especially the owners, are incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Alakamandava spending 4 nights here at the beginning and end of a 2 week holiday. The beautiful apartment and location is peaceful and perfect to relax and unwind after a long flight, yet a short tuk tuk ride away from Colombo City. The hosts Dharshana and Bhagya ensure that you have everything you need, and the breakfast and meal choices were superb, really enjoyed the Sri Lankan options (although I had to Google some things, and there's also Pasta and Pizza etc.. As a solo traveller I felt completely safe here, it's very homely and so many pretty terraces to sit and look over the neighbourhood. I enjoyed watching the tree Squirells, and many different birds.. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Silva received us at 5am. He made wonderful Sri Lankan omelettes and string hoppers. He served us tea in the afternoon. We felt very much cared for. Benjamin and his wife were telling us where we could go in addition to our own program. It was a great place to be.

I recently stayed at a room I rented for a few nights in Maharagama, Sri Lanka. While the location was outside Colombo, I found it to be incredibly peaceful away from the city hustle. The room itself was clean, simple, and excellent value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the landlord. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing all my queries and offering great tips about the area. I appreciated his hospitality and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Colombo.
