Hats off to Pete and the team for such an amazing experience, we had a fantastic stay at Jungle Breeze! The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and came with a lovely little kitchenette that made it feel like a home away from home. It was perfect for preparing light meals or just enjoying a quiet morning coffee. One of the highlights was the location - peaceful and lush, with nature all around. About a 10 minute walk is Kola restaurant, which was nothing short of incredible. The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of local character. It quickly became our go-to spot during the stay. Highly recommend Jungle Breeze for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable experience in Sri Lanka. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Opulent Oasis in Habaraduwa, which felt more like an apartment. It’s a 3-story building, and we stayed on the 3rd floor in a brand-new, spotless apartment. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioners, and 4 bathrooms with hot water. Being the first guests, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The apartment is fully equipped with a small kitchen and utensils, which allowed us to cook our dinner. It also has a dining table, TV, washing machine, gas cooker, fans, A/C, and other furniture, offering excellent value for the price. The rooftop terrace was a nice bonus, with a lovely view to enjoy. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly, which made our stay even better. For such a small budget, the apartment exceeded our expectations and was well worth the money. We highly recommend this place for a comfortable and affordable stay.

We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!

The space of living was enormous, very pleasant. The beach is clean with excellent waves creating white pure foam. The apartment lies on the first floor - above the turtle rescue station. It is practically on the beach. The way to the beach is around the pools with saved turtles. Really nice experience , I recommend it to everybody, it is worth of this money.

We had an excellent stay in a very authentic and cozy home for the last part of our holidays in Sri Lanka. Guy and Mary were very welcoming hosts and served us delicious breakfast with homemade curd, granola and bread. Home made dinner was also available but we unfortunately could not join due to our schedule. The pool is beautifully located in the middle of the forest and was the best pool we had during our trip. The house is located in a very quiet and serene place but with a scooter/tuk tuk, everything can be reached quickly. Overall, we had a great stay at Sri Mathie and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Beautiful property, every friendly and caring staff, big brand new spacious rooms with everything you need from king size comfortable bed, to fridge anf separate kitchen zone which was very convenient as I stayed for three weeks. It was the perfect price to quality ratio, great location with the beach 10 min walk, close to all the cool spots in Ahangama, Kabalana beach, bus stop, etc Breakfast is included, great big portions and options. Also, they host very cool events daily, lectures, Djs, BBQ, the restaurant serves great food all day, and they have a nice swimming pool to hang out by, wifi is quick and works perfectly, I highly recommend!

A great oceanfront house with a clean and large beach, large clean rooms with air conditioning and a bathroom. The owner is always ready to help with any questions and is always in touch with you. A nice bonus is that you can visit the turtle farm for free, which is located right next to the house. I recommend it, it was the best 9 days)
