Lush in Ella is a brand new venue and a true hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. Yet it is very close to the center of the town. The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. The room, bathroom, and balcony are very clean, the Internet works well, The washroom is spacious.

What a gem in Ella! This beautiful, family-run homestay offers stunning views and even better food. It’s conveniently located close to Ella town and the nearby waterfalls. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming - their hospitality is truly unmatched. Our room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. Don’t miss out on the homemade dinner either — it’s fantastic! Shalika and her family were amazing! The house is beautiful with gorgeous views, very comfortable and clean and very nice aesthetic. Breakfast was delicious and Shalika so friendly in making sure we had everything we need and arranging tuktuks for us. We would definitely recomment this place for your visit to Ella!!

Rasika, his wife and daughter gave us a very warm welcome in their house. They are such a nice and beautiful family! Rasika helped us with organizing our trips, including drivers. We even got invited to the 6th birthday of their daughter and got a lot of delicious cake brought to our room!! The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka!

This place is amazing! The hosts are absolutely marvellous, they were so kind, and they gave us great tips for things to do in Ella: - a great cooking class at a guesthouse nearby - wonderful walk to Ella Rock starting right next to the guesthouse - a taxi to Yala at a really great price (first taxi we took in Sri Lanka since we did everything by bus previously) - a day trip to Haputale so we could take the famous train, but only the best part (we missed it in Kandy) The bed is amazing, the surroundings a green haven of peace, at least when it’s not the weekend or a holiday, it’s hard to find quiet in Sri Lanka during those days 😅 We could see lot’s of giant squirrels from our deck, and one morning we woke up by monkeys jumping on the roof 😊 The included breakfast was abundant and different everyday (we stayed 3 nights). After two weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, we are confident to say that this was our favourite place.

This homestay offered excellent value for money. The room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed. Surrounded by lush greenery, we enjoyed watching birds from our large balcony. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We grew fond of their dogs, Doly and Hailey, who warmly welcomed us and played with us throughout our stay. Additionally, the homestay is conveniently located near Ella Town.

Amazing view with a really nice and helpful host. The location is a bit outside of the city but there is a shortcut to reach it in 10 minutes through a tea plantation. The owner is so chill and kind , he made nice breakfast and helped in every question. Also the pets made my stay more chill.
