Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. such a peaceful place surrounded by nature. we enjoyed the colorful birds, the beautiful lake, the kind staff, the AMAZING food, and monkeys playing in the trees. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has great view. we did yoga twice with the sweetest teacher Christina, and she was fantastic - even though we were beginners she managed to make us proud of every little improvement and to make us thankful for our bodies every step of the way.

We were so glad to find this place! A lot of room, a lot of comfort, and perfect hosts. The first night we decided to stay in for diner, and it was so good that the next two night, we ate there as well. Akka is a very good cook, Raj a very polite and helpful host. We had all we wanted and enjoyed it a lot. We had our driver take us to Kandy, because truth to be set, it is a bit away from the city. But because we wanted a bit of rest after the hushhush and rush in the traffic of Kandy, we were really glad to have our own villa, our privacy, and a warm welcome. We could do our laundry and had enough room to dry everything. Our best stay in Sri Lanka!

We received a very warm welcome when arriving late in the evening. The hosts arranged a family dinner so we could relax which was delicious . I got sick before my group arrived and they offered to drive me to a doctor. The homestay is immaculate. Very clean, hot showers, comfortable beds and cool AC. Thank you for your hospitality

The view onto the river is unbeatable and the apartment offers all equipment needed. The place was really clean and the surrounding is calm and relaxing. Also the communication with the host was always friendly and the owners were really helpful. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a calm place to stay, but still close enough to explore Kandy.

We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who shared his vision with great passion and pride, making us appreciate the concept even more. The retreat is located in the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, near Kandy. The untouched nature makes it a perfect destination for stunning hikes, which are thoughtfully organized by the team. Along the trails, you can discover hidden waterfalls and encounter unique endemic wildlife. Lastly, we must highlight the outstanding service and incredible food. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. The meals are amazing because of the freshness of the ingredients and the dedication put into every dish. Really nice and modern room / bathroom. Comfortable bed and all the stuff provided that you need for your daily cleaning / bathroom. Abele equipped kitchen to use. Providing of free drinking water, tea and coffee. The family and staff there is very nice and helpful. I could also use the washing machine for free. Laundry that I hanged in the garden was with the sun was dry after a few minutes :)
