We found this place by accident and it was one of the best travel experiences we ever had. This is not only an accommodation, it’s a magical place. Be prepared for Pachamama, Mother Nature at its best and Sanjey, host would be an understatement, he is the king of the jungle. This man made our stay an unforgettable experience. Natural Mystic is without question an amazing spot but through Sanjey the place becomes what it is! Accompanied by a lovely family who make the best authentic healthy food you find in Sri Lanka and let us feel not like guest but friends <3 This is Hotel California, you can never leave, a piece of your heart will stay there forever. Very comfy room. Good WiFi which is rare in Sri Lanka. Host is a forest guide so he can set the tour up for you including pick up and drop off. Breakfast is a good size.Tuk Tuk from Deniyaya bus station 2000 LKR

I had an amazing time her, Bandula the owner and the guide tok me on a very nice hike thru the rainforest an he does everything he can do to make sure you have a good time. after the hike you get very good food from he’s wife and very good service from he’s son. This is the place to go if you want a good experience in this rainforest area.

This place has my heart. I Came here as a solo Traveler and had such a warm welcome. Anna is very kind and serves the most delicious breakfast pancakes and Sidney is so open, a very great man. He made sure that i never went hungry and took me to a beatiful secluded waterfall. And if you're planning on visiting Sinharaja he'll Fix you up with a wonderfull guide aswell. Facilities we're clean, the place was quit. Tranquil Homestay did not steal it's name.

Very happy with our stay here. This is a family-run lodge so it's not super fancy, but the hosts make you feel so welcome especially by cooking so so many dishes for breakfast and dinner. Easily the best home cooking I've had in Sri Lanka. The hosts are super nice, and the room has an amazing view on the river edge (as per the name), and you can swim in the river, which is nice. It is a close walk to Doranella entrance and the location is secluded from the main roads and village so it's great if you're looking for more privacy.
