We had a wonderful stay! Our host showed us the sugar cane plantation, went on a little safari with us, spoiled our two little boys with sugar cane and river adventures and we couldn't have imagined a better stop on our road trip through Sri Lanka! The food was delicious, the service too and the host family was super friendly! Thank you for everything! We'll be happy to come back!

You have a whole building all for yourself: spacious bathroom, a lot of storage room, terrace with a dining table, 2 hammocks, extra chairs to sit in the sun in the morning… the food (dinner and breakfast) we had was delicious and nutritious!! It feels like you get time to restore your body, which is nice when you are travelling fast. If you have time and want to relax a bit, I would recommend to stay at least 2 nights or more. Thanks again!!

Comfortable and spacious dorm bed - feels like a room in itself. Stunning views of the mountain and the waterfall. I love sleeping and waking up to the sound of nature here. The owners are very lovely and makes sure you have all you need for a comfortable stay. They also arrange trips for you to town since it's up the mountains away from the busy streets which I absolutely love. You may not even want to get out of the hostel because the place is so stunning on its own. I feel very relaxed here.

We spent two nights in this homestay, and it was the first time since our trip to Sri Lanka that we had a real homestay experience, spending time with this lovely family and chatting. The hosts are very attentive; they gave us fruit and juice to taste. The dinner she prepared was absolutely delicious and very generous. The house is huge and very beautiful, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the balcony is very pleasant. We felt really good in this place. We highly recommend spending a few nights here. If you have your own transportation or are willing to pay for a driver/guide, the experience will be even better as you will be able to visit the surrounding area. However, we were not in this situation but we traveled by local bus and were able to arrive from the coast and leave for Ella. We were also able to go to the beautiful Diyaluma waterfall by taking the bus to Haputale for a day trip.

Cozy Cabana with incredible mountain view. Everything is very clean. The hosts are very friendly and warm people and the food is soo tasty. We had a wonderful time there and can highly recommend this accommodation.
