This family is just awesome, as well as the rooms! You have the whole downstairs area for yourself. The mother is a great cook and prepares authentic sri lanka food! Everybody was so helpful and kind! The whole family knows the area very well, just ask anything! We will definitely come back! Thank you Senaya Homestay!

Hemantha & Lalith were just great hosts! They have really looked after me and were making sure I have a comfortable stay. As a solo female traveller I felt really safe and they were a great company as well. The location is great (out of town), quiet and relaxing, I have spotted monkeys and squirells roaming around, lot of birds. The facilities were clean, the tent as well. Make sure you do kayak in the afternoon for sunset it is just beautiful and worth the money! Mr. Lasantha, the manager has also made sure I have everything I need and arranged my dinner delivery to the camp, highly appreciated! Only the pillows and towels need some refreshing.

We stayed here for one night we enjoyed it so much we extended for another night. The host is a very sweet & warm person. He is an interesting man and keeps his home and the guest apartments very clean so much so I was impressed at how neat and well thought out the spaces were. They smelled very fresh as did the bed linens and towels 🙂 We stayed in the budget room equipped with two huge beds, fluffy pillows a fan, great shower with hot water & huge kitchen with a fridge. This was so needed and appreciated after spending the whole day exploring waterfalls and trekking through the stunning scenery that surrounds this homestay. The host has a beautiful garden with tropical flowers and spaces for guests to sit and enjoy the garden also you can enjoy the many authentic & delicious breakfast, lunches & dinners the host will provide at a very reasonable cost. He truly takes the hassle out of everything for you and will go miles out of his way for you. We felt very safe and extremely cared for here. There are gates with locks on for your scooter and your own private access to the building. This homestay is in one of the most beautiful and historical regions in Sri Lanka. We had a great stay here. The staff are fantastic, transported us to and from the guesthouse and arranged tuk tuks to Liptons seat, which was wonderful. A major standout was the cooking class, which is an absolute must for visitors. A great thing to do on a misty night. With other guests, we cooked five delicious dishes and enjoyed their company. It was the best meal we had in our trip so far. Recommend dining in here as the dinner is excellent.

We stayed at Adisham village home for 2 nights and were made very welcome by Samire and his lovely family. We were the first to stay in the newest family room and it was beautiful. Very spacious with our own dining table where our breakfast and dinner was served. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the place is away from the road so very quiet. Samire was happy to help us with any of our requests. We also used the services of their taxi with Mr Ajith who was a very kind and knowledgeable guide for our tour to Liptons seat. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful place where you'll find yourself in tune with nature in it's fullest glory. Every aspect of 'the Woods' exudes a natural vibe. Lots of wood, clay elements, beautiful plants everywhere. It has clearly been well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. Also there is a beautiful forest that they have partly cultivated and partly kept in it's pristine purity. If you want there are a few waterfalls with natural ponds where you can take a dip. The view from the main building is beautiful and at night there are just a few lights, giving you the feeling that uninhabited places still exist. You really feel like you are in the woods, surrounded by nature. A welcome change from most places where too much has been built. This is really a natural retreat space. Beautiful ❤️
