Beautiful location surrounded by nature and a few other houses. Right in the forest so because of that you must have a car. I wouldn’t stay here without one. You could easily self cater for the whole time as it’s has a great kitchen. Eateries are about 8-10 mins away. It’s about 5 mins to Annupuri lifts and 10 mins to Moiwa. Masa (the owner) was very helpful and answered questions on WhatsApp very quickly.

The owners were very kind and picked us up from the train station at late notice as we didn't have a car. They also dropped us off in town for some food and a trip to the local onsen, for which they gave us free tickets included with the stay. The cottage was very cosy and warm, we went in January and we're almost too hot! Perfect getaway.

Location was superb. Very quiet and secluded. Beautiful sunrise views of mount yotei Definitely needed a car though.

We feel so lucky to have stayed at Janine’s newly renovated property, and we wish we could have stayed longer. So welcoming, and so helpful when we were navigating the different ski resorts of Niseko. If you have the chance you must arrange with her for dinner, nothing beats her home-cooked food after a long day on the slopes.
