The place was huge for our family. The rooms were also comfortable for our stay. The house also had everything well stocked up! We had some difficulties locating the key but thankfully we could communicate in chinese with the owner and managed to get ourselves in soon after. We had also left some clothes behind and the owner was very kind to send it over to us at our next location in Japan. We received it within 2 days! Thank you for the memorable stay!

The home owner was very friendly and very accomodating. The room was comfortable and we had access to a washing machine and kitchen. I would happily stay again and explore the surrounding areas. Food places nearby were some of the best I visited on my trip in Japan.

We received excellent service, the staff were very friendly at all times, and we were even welcomed by the hotel manager. The views are spectacular, we saw Mount Fuji from different perspectives and I don't think it could be seen more beautifully from anywhere else. Although it is a hotel with a lot of history and has been operating for a long time, all the vintage details actually enrich the experience. Furthermore, I never thought sleeping on a futon could be so comfortable. I regretted not booking more nights at this place. Finally, I would like to point out that the guy at the reception has the best English I heard in all of Japan, which is much appreciated. Although the restaurant was closed because the chef was on holiday, the reception offered us a pizza that was delicious. I hope to return very soon!

Everything! It was one of the best and uniquest place I have stayed. Beautiful traditional Japanese house that was owned by a ex mayor of the city was renovated with the newest technology that made our stay very comfortable. Will definitely come back!

To experience to live in an old traditional house. The Hoto cooking class and eating it on our own fireplace was great. The lady taking care of us was extremly nice and suggested also great places to go to.

Stefan and Cassi were great during my stay, whether it was just having a chat, needing some supplies or a lift they were more than happy to help out. The dome itself was spacious, clean and had heating, cooling and great beds. The facilities were stellar as well and well maintained.
