This camp is magical. Good vibes, cozy tents, fun tours, amazing bonfire nights. The staff is very responsive, funny and caring, and the place itself is out of this world. The camp is not too big, has such a great location, a cave to chill, common area to meet other travelers and eat the traditional food. The guys running this place have put their hearts and passion into it, and it shows. Recommended 10/10.

It deserves a 5-star rating. We spent one of the best nights of my life in this camp. Everything was special in this resort, from the reception, the rooms, and the delicious food. It is a special place in terms of cleanliness, lighting, a special Bedouin evening, and a stunning view. Thanks to all the workers for making this resort a success. I really loved the genuity of the place, truly local food and clean though simple lodgings. Compared to the other camps, the location of the camp in the desert is further from the village, so if you want to get the feeling of remoteness, go for it. I had never experienced such piece and quiet in my life as I did there. Mahmoud - the guide - is an experienced nice guy with plenty of knowledge of the local customs and is sensitive to visitors´ needs. While touring through the desert, he made us a delicious lunch and answered anything we asked about the Jordan culture or family traditions.

A destination that is worth the experience, a friendly staff, beautiful and spotless rooms, delicious food prepared in a way that is extra under the grill, a journey in a jeep that is both affordable and worthwhile, and a gentleman who is both intelligent and respectful. I stayed at Salameh‘s Bedouin Camp. It was an amazing experience. It was comfortable and clean and we even had a private bathroom with a western toilette. Beds were also really comfortable and food was delicious. The host are really kind and helpful. We also did an amazing jeep tour - and it was so much fun. The next day we went on a Camel Ride. Your really feel how they love their animals and that they are well treated. My Camel‘s name was Susu. She was such a sweetheart and loved to be cuddled. If there would have been more space in my Luggage, I would have taken her home with me. In Summary - a really authentic experience. Wonderful hosts that made you feel like at home. You really can escape your normal life for a while and feel a little like a Bedouin.

Accommodation was as described, tent was spacious and clean. We also booked 4-hours jeep ride and I definitely don't regret it - we had a great time with Eid! I recommend it!

Everything was great! Adel and his family did their best to make our stay as comfortable as it gets. They even let me prepare my own coffee 😁☕. We had the 4 hour jeep tour to the desert, the experience was superb! The bubble room was very comfortable with A/C, spacious bathroom and enormous large bed. Thank you Adel for this beautiful experience!

Our stay at wild oryx camp was adventurous, authentic and unique! The camp is located perfectly for stargazing, and sunrise views as it is far away from the roads and the village. Our room had all the amenities mentioned in booking.com. Food was prepared by mr Sayed and was excellent! Mr Eid our host was very, very hospitable and helpful and really tried to accommodate our every need! He welcomed us into his home and made our experience at the wadi rum desert unforgettable!
