This was a pleasant surprise. The location was amazing. Very close to St Mark's Basilica and a lot of great restaurants We were able to visit all main attractions by walking and no need for the water bus. The facilities are new and modern, considering most of the hotels in Venice are very old. Also, they were able to install and elevator, which was a plus for my mother(70 years old).

This hotel was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building is newly renovated, stylish, and very comfortable, with everything we needed during our stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and always ready to help. One moment really showed how special this place is: we lost our bag in Venice, most likely taken by mistake in the crowds on the boats. With thousands of tourists around, the chances of getting it back felt almost impossible. But the hotel staff immediately supported us, and thanks to their help the people who had taken it by mistake actually returned it directly to the hotel. That level of care and service is rare, and it turned what could have been a stressful trip into a memory we will always treasure. We warmly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We got an upgrade to the junior suite and the room was gorgeous! It was spacious, nicely decorated and super clean. They even have a private pier for gondola ride right outside our room. The hotel staff Enrico was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us accurate recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Venice. He even arranged a private gondola ride for us and it was amazing! Our stay in this hotel was the highlight of our trip and is the best stay throughout our 2 weeks travel in Europe.

Hotel Al Codega was amazing! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning — they even arranged a water taxi to pick us up at the train station, which made our arrival so much smoother. The location was phenomenal: within a 15-minute walk, we could reach all of Venice’s main attractions. Despite being so central, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet courtyard, which gave us a peaceful retreat after long days of exploring. Breakfast and the hotel facilities were great — everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We’re really happy to have found this hotel and to have had it as part of our Italy journey!
