Antonio greeted us at the entrance gate and showed us in. Renata was friendly and they both ensure there are ample options for breakfast. They have thought of everything, even stocking a few drinks in the fridge and having everything you need in the ensuite bathroom. You have keys to enter the apartment and lock your bedroom door. The best part about this B&B is the location. You are in between the port and the train station, each only about 5 minutes away when walking. Varenna is also in the middle of the lake and one of the prettiest towns to visit.

Our original room (Double room #30) was right next to the lobby, and after the first night we realized it wouldn't be possible to sleep, with all the noise just outside. So we requested a room change and the staff was gracious enough to grant it. Their treatment changed the whole experience, as well as the incredible breakfast, and their overall amazing views throughout the hotel.

Nothing The property was not as advertised with many items described in the listing not being present Ie No working TV No Internet No air conditioning No Dishwasher No working heating More importantly there was no hot water or heating which made the stay nearly impossible as it was hot very cold 4 C Despite contacting the owners it took 2 days to eventually get hot water but by that time the stay was ruined and we we were leaving The owners promised at the time to reimburse us for the stay however after several attempts and promises they have failed to deliver the compensation offered From our position it would appear that the owners were not truthful about the facilities and to date have not delivered the compensation they promised if we did not write an accurate but negative review Worst place I have ever stayed on lake Como in my many years travel to the lake Worst customer experience and service that I have known.

Great apartment in lovely Bellano, close to the train station and lake shore, supermarket across the road. The apartment is a good size, really clean and modern and well equipped. We loved our stay here - and Bellano is a great base for Lake Como, much nicer than the busier lake towns
