La Tana del Picchio was a wonderful experience. I booked at short notice to add some variety to my motorcycle tour route. I found an absolute diamond. The entire experience was amazing. It is remote and at the end of a rough track which only adds to the feeling of being close to nature. The hosts were a wonderful family who were extremely attentive and they couldn't have done more to make my short stay so relaxing and peaceful. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The rooms as a good size and they are well furnished in keeping with the style of the property. The food which was prepared fresh from predominately ingrediants from their own resources was exceptional and it was a pleasure to be able to share the hosts home and to learn about the background and history behind their produce. I was humbled when the host very kindly presented me with a bottle of their own family recipe balsamic vinegar that had been passed down through the generations. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable experience and I 150% recommend La Tan del Picchio to anyone considering a booking and in need of a peaceful and tranquil location. Molto Grazie Mille

Gorgeous couple hosting the beautiful casa! Lovely rural setting in beautifully renovated and maintained accomodation. Dinner was made especially for me and was delicious!! If you’re dreaming of pure countryside peace surrounded by emerald-green hills, book Agriturismo Campo del Pillo without a second thought. The location is stunning - exactly the quiet, pastoral setting we were searching for, and it recharged our batteries so completely that we kept extending our stay in our minds. Our room was spotless, neatly arranged, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Each morning began with a generous farmhouse breakfast: fragrant local cheeses, cold cuts, and jams all produced locally and bursting with flavor. Host Fabrizio embodies Italian hospitality. Although we arrived later than planned, he greeted us like old friends and with much care. Later, He personally opened the jacuzzi so we could unwind and relax. Throughout our visit, he checked in with genuine warmth, offered thoughtful tips on hiking trails and village trattorias, and made absolutely sure we lacked for nothing. Campo del Pillo is one of those rare places that feels both homely and special. Perfect for slowing down, breathing deep, and savoring life’s simple pleasures. We recommend it wholeheartedly and already look forward to our return.
