Well equipped, spacious and very cosy apartment with a beautiful Mountain View. The booking was very short termed and we arrived late but everything was well prepared nonetheless. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful and even surprised us with delicious homemade pancakes! The apartment is well located for exploring the golden circle area and we can definitely recommend it also for a longer stay. We had an awesome time even though the weather was very rainy. Linda the host was super friendly and easy with great communication. Before we entered the house, we weren't much impressed as it's a house we have been passing by for the past few days around the island. The moment we were inside, we fell in love with it. It's not a unit to be rented out for income but it's a HOME. A real home of Icelandic, from bed linen to living hall and kitchen you will be able to tell. Very good place, close to a river and quite dark all around, can be a nice spot to see northern lights. The rooms are some old fishermen cabins very nicely restored, and the hosts were super nice! I would definitely go back there again
