Amazing location (like a paradise) for nature-loving people. Very peaceful, you can chill out after sightseeing or trekking. Lots of birds (especially in the morning), trees and other plants (like pepper and cardamon). Ten minutes away is a waterfall and two other places where you can spend time by the river. In the evening you can watch the night sky full of stars. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, you can also order (besides breakfast) delicious homemade lunches and dinners. And there is a gentle and playful labrador and two cats in the garden :) We had spacious, clean room with a balcony and mountain view. Bathroom was also big and tidy. You can get from here to Munnar by public bus (Anaviratty bus stop by the main road) or to 2nd Mile (Randa Mile) to see wonderful Kathakali and Kalaripayattu show (Punarjani Traditional Village). Quite close is Pettimudi View Point. Another attraction (but further) are the wild elephants in Anakulam (they come to drink water from a river). For backpackers: we got here from Kochi (Ernakulam) by bus (the stop is in Adimaly, but you can take a rickshaw from here directly to homestay or you can check if there is a local bus from Adimaly to Anaviratty).

I'm so glad I changed one of my other bookings to stay at Elephant Passage. I travelled here with my family (including my pet cat) and we were treated so well here. My top 5 pick of things my family and I absolutely loved: 1. Pet friendly 2. Breakfast options 3. Cottage rooms with ample space and balcony 4. Complimentary activities including tea and bonfire 5. Amenities - Spa, Pool to plunge in with a view and games room!

this property is located at quite place close to the the river side and importantly away from the traffic. Rooms are very clean and spacious with lots of spaces outside as well. Pet friendly Homestay. Food was awesome and served with happy face (we felt like we went to our friends / relatives house). l love the entire family members for their affection showed to us during the stay. you won’t miss lovely dog called Bunto - cute boy 😀 Thank you and we are planning to visit and stay for your gesture & food 🍱

Everything, it is a homestay in one word, you feel at home. Exceptional hospitality, highly recommended, especially if you are travelling with little kids. They will cook anything for your kid (even if they don't know, they will get it done). The food is also really good. It is a calm and quiet location, let you refresh from busy life. And icing on the cake is the pet dog Buto, such a sweet guy.
