Our stay at the Sycamore Lodge was a highlight of our trip! John and Kieran were exceptional hosts! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely tea with homemade scones and other treats. The house is simply beautiful and we felt immediately at home. Kieran was especially helpful in giving us tips and information about our ancestors who lived in Kilkee. We didn't think things could get any better and then, after a wonderful night's sleep, we woke up to an amazing, breakfast. It was almost too beautiful to eat! The room was cosy, and the host, Maryann, was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The place is quiet, which guarantees a good night's sleep. The Bridges of Ross are just down the road, and you can explore the beaches in the vicinity. In short, just lovely!
