John was so helpful on arrival and you could not meet nicer. The hut was in a beautiful location and 2 min walk from the beach. It had everything we needed and was spotless. It was great being allowed to bring our dog along. He absolutely loved the break. A big thank you to John and Dee. We will be revisiting in the future.

The perfect doggo retreat… myself and my husband have been twice now and I honestly can’t recommend Loughanmore Court Cottage enough… beautiful ground with walking path for the dogs, the cottage itself has beautiful touches in every way like dressing gowns, face masks, welcome surprises… the jacuzzi is magic and the bed is honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in… can’t recommend it enough…

Glen Gat House is such a great place that I would strongly recommend it to anyone who plans to come to visit Dundalk. It has not only a great location, but also wonderful services. Guests would easily feel at home at Glen Gat House. Its manager, Helena, is very kind and helpful. She even helped us secure our first lease in Dundalk and make various purchases through her local friends and connections. We couldn’t think of a better way to start our life in Dundalk. The apartment is very spacious with full kitchen so we could cook if we wanted and then lounge comfortably on the two sofas afterwards. The property is in the heart of the village and a short trip downstairs brings you into the fun and genuine atmosphere of the village pub where guests get a chance to mix with the locals. Great chippy across the way. Con is a gracious host and made us feel welcome to the B&B and to the village of Knockbridge. Come here if you want to experience real Ireland.

from the minute we arrived the hosts created a family friendly atmosphere the house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and the whole place absolutely spotlessly clean throughout. The room had a walk in wardrobe which was luxury and an accessible shower which was much appreciated as I have a back problem. Kevin and Geraldine are the perfect hosts in every way and I'm sure it wont be our last time to stay with them its a beautiful part of the country to explore, thank you both, wishing you and your lovely family a very happy Christmas and a busy and prosperous 2026.
