The hostel is lost in a green paradise. You can swim on the river and enjoy the beauty of fauna and flore around. The local staff is very nice, especially the manager who is very helpful. Definitely best place to stay for people who want to experience a more unique stay than in a traditional hostel. You have to walk 25min along the river to reach the hostel, so it's better to have a backpack. They will send you a guide to walk with you, it's very safe and the walk is not hard. It's totally worth it! Bring your food if you wanna cook because there is no shop nearby. You can also sign up for meals and it's not expensive.

Very good price and 25 min walking to Semuc or there is option a tuk tuk but definitely recommend to the walk. Surrounded with nature and very kind staff family that take care of the guest with best manners. Totally recommended nice food as well 👌

Great location by the river, very close to Semuc Champey (view point and pools), good food in a bar, nice view from a cabana. We stayed there two nights despite we planned only one. If you love dogs this place is for you 🥰

Loved the hosts Mary and her son David. The food is all homemade, generous portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. We felt very safe and secure. We did the cave, tubing and Semuc Champney all day tour with David and loved every minute. His friendliness and energy made for an exilerating, special day - highly recommend
