we had an unforgettable experience staying in this cottage. The cottage is located in a serene location, offering amazing views of the surrounding nature. I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the hosts. The cottage itself has beautiful rustic design combined with modern amenities. The room was spot clean, cozy, and had everything needed with it's lovely outdoor seating area. One of the main advantage of this cottage is that it's very close to Lagodekhi National Park. Amazing place to spend a few days or more. The treehouses are clean and well equipped (good beds, private bathroom with a shower etc). The guesthouse territory is green and lovely, with lots of places to sit and lots of flowers. There's an outside kitchen with dining area, you can cook, but the owners prepare a huge amount of various local food if you order breakfast /lunch/dinner. The arboretum & the whole Lagodeghi national park is right behind the fence. Shalva and his wife are truly welcoming and warm people.

Less than 10 min walk from the bus/marshrutka station. Shops like Spar and bakery less than 5 min walk down hill. There’s a kitchen up stairs if you want to cook but the food is excellent. I took dinner and breakfast before setting off on 3 day Black Rock Lakes circuit and I couldn’t finish either meal (the servings were so good). And the red wine they make, is very tasty. They let me leave a few things behind while I hiked and even gave me a lift up the hill to the National Park entrance. Lovely family, cosy place and excellent food.

Excellent family place! We stopped to do a 3-day demanding hike to the Black Rock Lake. Before departing for the hike we got such a delicious and abundant breakfast that it filled us up easily till afternoon. Upon return the host allowed us to dry our tent (wet after the rain in high mountains) and wash clothes. All in all we felt taken care of as at home. A piece of advice: if you happen to pass during the summer, book a room with A/C. It was unbearably hot at night outside.
