Beautiful cottage with lovely views, very relaxing stay. The cottage is beautifully clean, warm and cosy, and well equipped. Short walk from Settle railway station (Settle to Carlisle railway with Ribblehead viaduct), and a short walk to the bus stops. The whole holiday was by public transport and very easy. Went by bus to Skipton market one day, and another day a bus to Stainforth for a walk to see the salmon leaping at Stainforth Force and then walked back to Settle via the very interesting Hoffman Kiln. Settle Victoria Hall (one of the reasons for our stay) also an easy walk. Really enjoyed pottering about exploring Settle itself too.

The location is fantastic and the accommodation is exceptional. We only stayed for 2 nights as a weekend getaway but we would have happily stayed for longer. The little touches in the cottage made it so much nicer, having a bottle of milk ready, a bottle of prosecco on arrival and the little things like having an Alexa in the bedroom. The welcome pack is brilliant and has recommendations to local restaurants and pubs which we liked. Loved every minute and would recommend it to anyone looking for a break in Yorkshire.

Windyridge is a beautiful big terrace house on Settle main street. The large rooms are all decorated with high quality furniture and fittings which really suit the ambience of the property. All the rooms are lovely with big bright windows throughout, open fires and comfortable chairs and settees. The kitchen had everything we needed and was pleasant to cook and eat in though there was a splendid dining room/ library too. The locally made grandfather clocks around the house really help to make the place feel special. There are three large double bedrooms and one twin room upstairs as well as a bathroom with toilet, free standing bath and shower. There is another toilet and walk in shower downstairs and the property also has a washing machine and tumble drier. The yard at the back of the house provides enough parking space for two large cars and across the little back lane is a nice raised garden area with a table and chairs. We loved Windyridge, it helped make our our enjoyable stay in Settle even more memorable and we hope to return.

Everything. Whilst we were there, the field a window looked over had 3 alpacas in it, which you are allowed to feed through window with special food provided. The reclining sofa was a lovely special extra. Hazel and Charlie are really really lovely. Can't wait to come back. Great central location. 100% privacy. You'll need a parking display card if you want to park in Settle, there's one supplied in the accommodation. Great information pack supplied in accommodation.

The cottage was beautiful & felt like home 🏡 It has everything you need & is in such a beautiful location. It is very private. Extremely dog friendly & a very friendly location. Carol was amazing! I would 100% go back. Janets foss was a stunning walk. I highly recommend ingleton waterfalls trail absolutely breath taking, a lot of steps be prepared with the right footware & give yourself time for the walk. My dog enjoyed the beautiful walks 🥰

Staff and locals all made me very welcome, good value for money, food was excellent. Friday quiz was brilliant. Location was great for all local attractions. Dog Friendly. As a first solo traveller this was a great place, I was made to feel very welcome and everyone was very friendly, I did not feel awkward being on my own. Room was very nice and very clean with lots of extras. I will definitely be back. Charlie, my dog, got lots of attention and treats which he loved

Larger room than expected, well appointed. Large bar area with wide range of beers, lagers and good wine selection. Nice varied reasonably priced menu. Good breakfast. They are very dog friendly. Our furry friend even got his own sausage at breakfast!
