I like everything of this property. It’s the most considerate host I have ever been met. She leaves a message at every place where she would like send the message to guests. The host tried her best to take care of her guests, we can feel that, really warm and sweet. Of course the view is fantastic. If I got opportunity to leave longer at Oban, I will definitely choose The penthouse again.

I was very pleased with Oban Bay Apartments. The apartment was very spacious, newly renovated and right across the street from the waterfront. It is located above Cuan Mor restaurant, one of the best in town, although I did not notice any noise from the restaurant. It is around the corner from Oban Distillery and an easy walking distance to the waterfront. It has well-appointed kitchen and large bathroom. The bed was about a US queen size bed and was comfortable. The owner was responsive to questions, but not on location. We received a key code to the front door. The door to the apartments is a little hard to find. It is an unmarked single door immediately next to the Cuan Mor restaurant. The owner provided a dram of Oban whisky which the fellas in our group loved. I would recommend the apartments for a stay in Oban.

The Kilchrenan Inn offers a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The inn's bar is a cozy retreat, featuring a traditional wood-burner and a selection of Scottish beers, ciders, gins, and whiskies. It's an ideal spot to unwind. Breakfast is the best we had in Scotland, especially homemade granola. The staff is extremely polite and friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. Everything was great and we are so sorry we coudn't stay longer.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious lodge in a great location, So peaceful and quiet. Great restaurant on the site too (The Barn) - delicious home made food and dog friendly. Would recommend.

Location is good. The car park was full so no parking available however the local car park was extremely close by and had loads of spaces. The man at the check-in desk was very friendly. I like that it’s very dog friendly.

Peaceful location welcomed just after arrival by host to check everything was OK. Dog friendly with walks on the doorstep. Forest and Loch within walking distance. Barn Bar & Restaurant onsite for food and drink. Chalet warm and comfortable with everything you need for self catering holiday. Comfortable bed with hotel class linen and towels. Would recommend for outdoor types especially. Down a track with passing places so you need to drive slowly! Friendly hosts with their own dogs so very dog friendly. Ideal base to explore Argyll.

The location is superb. Set in a quiet glen just a few miles from Oban. The views from the cottage were excellent.The walk through the forest to the loch with the dog was lovely. Having the Barn Bar on ur doorstep was a bonus. All the staff in the bar were very friendly. The whole site is very dog friendly.
