We very much enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Cross Keys Inn. The Inn is full of character, well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders and made a quiet and peaceful end to our holiday. Highly recommended!

But the real prize was the magnificent, fully lined tweed drapes in the room -- an easily overlooked touch, but such exquisite fabric in a simple, cozy little hotel room, and such a Scottish touch, too! Room size was great, bed was very comfortable, room was very clean. Loved the beer garden and all the food we ordered at the bar was fantastic. The breakfast meats were mediocre, but everything else, including the service and the staff was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

The owner was very helpful. He contacted me by phone to confirm my arrival time and when I informed me that I was delayed due to my flight arriving late. He kept the accommodation available and made sure I could access the property at a late hour.
