Where do I start, this was our dream to stay in a French chateau, & it far surpassed my expectations. It is sat deep in the countryside & is so peaceful, there are some beautiful grounds & outdoor pool & inside it oozes character and charm. We stayed in an amazing large bedroom named Gothic (I think)with a great shower in the bathroom & big solid wooden furniture. It’s was perfect & we wish we had booked more than just the one night. The ground floor has a very large lounge & dining room where breakfast is served & there was no shortage of food. The host, Nicholas, is charming & we wish we had been able to thank him for his hospitality during our stay, we would both come back here without hesitation.

This hotel was just wonderful. Super countryside travelling to the hotel. Hosts are great people. We relaxed in the garden, beside the pool. Dinner was really nice, very tasty, local produce, and local wine. Our room was very comfortable and so quiet . The hotel is quant, older furniture. If we are anywhere near Chantelle in the future, we will stay here. In fact, I would build my trip to take in staying with Juan and this excellent hotel. It was a great experience. We're looking forward to returning.

We had a wonderful time and felt very welcomed. Olivier and Celine are fabulous and warm-hearted hosts. The apartment is beautiful and calm, the jacuzzi very clean. The breakfast, including freshly baked croissants, bread and self-made marmelades was delicious. We'll definitely come visit this lovely place again.

Where do I start?! An exceptional property in a stunning location. Each room has it's own theme and is immaculate, along with being a generous size too. Nick, the owner and host, cannot do enough to help and is friendly too. The grounds are extensive and whilst it is very much a working set of paddocks for race horses there is lot's to explore. The swimming pool is in a great location, next to a small lake, and there is more to come.

Beautiful restored castle. Large rooms. Quiet location. On the grounds of the castle are also a large number of beautiful racing horses. Excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed the large swimming pool.
