Never mind the Michelin star, just go for the food. It’s an iconic institution proud of their cuisine and justifiably so. Helpful and friendly too. Look for the letter from President Eisenhower on the wall of the restaurant.

This was the best stay during my 7-day Pyrenees journey. The view from the terrace was absolutely stunning, with gentle green mountains stretching into the distance. Both the sunset and sunrise were breathtaking, and I even enjoyed working on my laptop from the terrace. Breakfast looked simple at first, but every bite was incredibly delicious — especially the cheese, ham, yogurt, honey, and juice. I even asked the staff about the cheese they served and went to buy it at the local shop. The room was decorated with Basque-style coverings, and even the tableware reflected the Basque tradition, which made the atmosphere very special. There was nothing negative about this stay. I would love to return again!

The property has great amenities and we couldn’t have wished for a better host who went above and beyond to help us fix the flat tyre we had with our bikes and get back on the road in the morning. We could also securely stored our hikes overnight which is greatly appreciated. We strongly recommend a stay at Sylvie’s place!

The property has great amenities and we couldn’t have wished for a better host who went above and beyond to help us fix the flat tyre we had with our bikes and get back on the road in the morning. We could also securely stored our hikes overnight which is greatly appreciated. We strongly recommend a stay at Sylvie’s place!

It was lovely - everything felt new / clean with a sort of rustic luxury ambiance - just in character with the location. Excellent. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Shower was excellent. Evening food in the restaurant and breakfast absolute quality- well done to the manager and all the staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful individuals, we arrived out of ordinary kitchen hours but we were served a nice selection of hams and cheeses in addition to local wine. The location is excellent and very central. Stayed at the apartment within the hotel, generous size and a terrace facing the mountains!

It is a very nice hotel in a nice village. Location is central and perfect also if one go to Ainhoa for hiking. The restaurant is good with a terass having views over the mountains. Breakfast was very good and staff very helpful and nice.
