Toni and his wife looked after us very well during our short stay. In hindsight we wished that we had booked a longer stay. Mil Madrenas Rojas is situated at 1250 metres and up a very interesting, scenic and slightly challenging road. Nevertheless if one is prepared to drive slowly (20kph) for 15 - 18kms, then the reward is the peace and tranquility at the location. Be prepared to take food with you for your stay or request meals via Toni & Monica. Speaking Spanish is an advantage as both their English or French is minimal. I found using the English to Spanish conversation on my iPhone very useful at times. In summary if one is looking for peace, tranquility and walks in a remote area then this is the place to stay🤙
