There was plenty of space in the house. There was a modern kitchen to cook in. The check in process was quick and easy. The house was 60 seconds from the main square, bars and a supermarket. It was also close to the castle. The host was friendly and helpful.

The property is a beautifully converted 11th century building, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the team made me feel very much at home from the moment I arrived. With a delicious restaurant and wine cellar downstairs, it really is the perfect spot.

We have used this hotel sevreral times as it is ideally placed for a final night before catching the Santander ferry. It is a former monastery and seems to have been refurbished almost without thought to expense: outstanding facilities and spacious rooms and bathrooms: nothing but the best fittings and tasteful decor. If you have time, it is worth taking the guided tour of the monastery and church which is otherwise off limits. Breakfast good and setting lovely - very historical.

It was amazing clean and beautiful

The rooms were big, warm and clean. Bathtub was a good size with great water pressure. The staff were very friendly. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

In case you would like to take a step between Madrid, Valladolid, Victoria and Lleida, this is a good value for money hotel. The room was simple but clean. Not disturb by the noise of the roads ( the hotel is located between 2 National roads). Of course, my experience is valid for the autumn when the window is closed. The breakfast was really great ( salmon and fresh orange juice on top of the tortilla + other classic ones).
