The owners were welcoming and helpful. This place has a kitchen where we were able to cook and eat our own meals in a comfortable seating area. The whole place appeared to be new with good facilities, bed was good to sleep in, shower was high powered and towels and shampoo were provided. The whole experience was even better that we hoped for when booking.

The house was in a perfect location by bus to Bilbao .Communication was excellent with the hosts and were there to greet us. Shared kitchen and lounge well facilitated and great place to meet fellow travellers. Information given of local/Bilbao sights and available means of transport..Plenty of parking space. Very comfortable and clean room with brilliant views of the countryside from the verandah. Totally recommend it for all friends and family.

Everything. The owner was on hand, kind, helpful, welcoming! The property is steps away from the harbour, shops, cafes, supermarkets. The apartment was lovely inside, the kitchen was amply stocked with cooking utensils and crockery and there was even things like coffee, sugar, tea on hand, and milk in the fridge! We were given a gift of chocolates and snacks, shown how everything worked, supplied with lots of ideas on what to see. We enjoyed the town and the beautiful Urdaibai reserve and surroundings. Eskerrik asko!!!

Not a good place to sleep if you are can’t sleep through the noise of dogs barking and doors accidentally slamming. Soundproofing above and below the rooms is terrible. We did write in well ahead of time to say we were light sleepers and could we have a room not facing the main road. It wasn’t until we arrived that we were told that not of their double rooms faced the quiet side of the property. Great place to stay if you have dogs. Dogs are plentiful and welcome. Only 12 minute walk to the beach. Staff are friendly.

Lovely little hotel, 30 mins from Bilbao port, super dog friendly in a beautiful old Basque building. Very quiet yet short walk to bakio Seafront. Optional breakfast at €6 pp is lovely, fresh, and great value served in an old flag stoned floor room. Early check in available from 1pm which is great.

Nice big room with beautiful views. Good location, the ocean is close by. Dogs are allowed. There is a big area where they can roam, the dog park is also adjacent. Staff was very friendly
