The owner and Bilal make a good stay. No hassle, good information, always available, but (!) not in your space. Hoppa is a very good, very cute, extremely friendly and comfortable place. 5 or 6 decent rooms with airconditioning, a really good and clean pool and a kitchen with all you need (fridge, stove, kitchen stuff) to make your own breakfast or otherwise. The good feel of old hippy times, but with 5 star facilities. Excellent warm showers! On the south end of Luxor, under ten minutes by taxi (50-100 EGP) in a quiet mosk free area with a square where local kids play later in the day. Easy to mix up with them.

One of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. The room was exactly what we needed—simple and clean. The breakfast offered a variety of local products and was absolutely delicious. The location was excellent, very close to everything on the east side and easily accessible on foot. What truly made the difference were the owners. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. They provided us with lots of helpful information on how to avoid scams, and we felt comfortable asking them anything that came to mind. They also made us feel completely at home, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Even when we had an issue with our transfer to Aswan, they gave us clear and practical instructions on what to do and what to avoid. Overall, it was a truly excellent experience, best value for money accommodation and of course with the kindest people.

It was by far the best stay during our whole Egypt tour. Everything was just perfect, the owner Khaled responded promptly to any question, he has own car and driver that can bring you anywhere for good price. The whole villa and garden is amazing, clean and peaceful. Within 5 minutes you can reach all sights on the west bank and from the ferry port you can reach it by 5-10 minutes easily. Comparing east and west bank we would definitely stay again on the west bank - much less traffic, noise and most importantly MUCH LESS people trying to get money on the street from you.

This apartment was a great find, exceeding my expectations and being excellent! Ahmad, my host, was helpful from the first contact to the last moment when I left Luxor. He waited for me at the bus station upon my arrival, took me to the apartment, offered a welcome drink, completed my check-in, and explained everything about the apartment and the surrounding area, including potential tours. The apartment is in a simple neighborhood, just meters away from the Hilton Hotel, and there are several local mini-markets where I could buy everything I needed. Ahmad helped me get an idea of prices since in Egypt, many things require negotiation. From the apartment, it's possible to walk to the Karnak Temple (15 minutes) and also Luxor Temple (50 minutes). Additionally, it's convenient to arrange tours that pick you up at the doorstep. The apartment itself is much more beautiful in person, and everything was very clean! I was able to use the Wi-Fi for work, and when one connection faltered, I could switch to another.

It was a pleasure staying at Nour El Balad. It’s beautifully decorated and feels very authentic. It’s quiet and peaceful, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. We had both breakfast and dinner which I highly recommend. The surrounding area is beautiful and the locals are very nice. Highly recommended for when you’re visiting the sights on the West Bank.

Mohamad is the person who made everything is perfect! You can trust him, believe me you going to understand how important this is when you are in Egypt because 80% of the people are scammers. It’s very important to found someone you can trust, and thank to God our house owner was like this and it gives us safety at least at home. Don’t make my mistake, ask him about everything since day one. The flat is very clean and I believe for this price it’s impossible to found something better in Luxor.
