Great location, less than 5 minutes to the ferry. We arrived at 3am and had arranged for someone to pick us up and a private boat through the guesthouse. All went perfectly. They helped us arrange tours as well! Great air con, wifi, breakfast was nice, you can get food from a local cafe delivered and the staff were helpful.

We loved the property! Our host Hafez is a wonderful human being and a superb host! He ensured we are comfortable and helped us with local tips. This is also a very well decorated place, and in the heart of the Nubian village and the jetty to take the ferry ride! This is super worth the money we spent!

Amazing stay and honestly one of the best customer service experiences in Egypt. Rooms are super cute and cosy and was so Amazing to wake up to the sunrise right o the river. All of the staff went above and beyond and the food was simply delicious. I chose to eat there often rather than go to other restaurants as it was some of the best food I ate during my month in Egypt. I'm coming back with a group later in the year and even gave them a shout out on IG which is rare. Highly recommend 👌

The Nuba Heart is a spanking brand-new Nubian accommodation on the west bank of Aswan, so very clean, it has the most comfortable brand new beds and sheets, the highest rooftop in the village that has an extremely friendly vibe where you eat breakfast and dinner. The owner is very proud and wants to do his best for everyone and his wife cooked the best Nile fish dinner I’ve have eaten in Egypt, highly recommended. Mohamed the owner’s son is a huge Asset to the family business, as he’s incredibly friendly and such a special person, his English is very good too. The lovely children could not have bigger smiles and so well behaved. You can walk to the Tombs being just up the road (which has fabulous views), then walk to the old Monastery and also to the mausoleum. I recommend that you come back to Nuba Heart by Camel and look for Harris at the mausoleum, he’s a lovely peaceful guy, who even bought me tea, he has 2 Camels, or more 🐪 are available if you’re a bigger group. There’s a public boat that crosses the Nile 24/7 costing 10 Egyptian pounds to reach the Nubian village on the West Bank and it’s either a short walk or a few minutes ride by tut-tut to Nuba Heart

The owner ABU personally drove his own boat to the dock to pick us up, the Nile in the sunset is very beautiful. The hotel is located on a small island next to a mango grove and the rooms are very clean. We sat on the terrace with the moonlight and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Wonderful memories, recommended to stay

Absolutely everything. The stay was properly magical. The room is big and clean with private bathroom. The terrasse is very charming and on the Nile river, with in the desert view on the other side and a few minutes by boat to the botanic garden. Ahmed is the kindest host I’ve had. He helped me a lot with my visits in Aswan but also with the organisation of my trips to Luxor and Abu Simbel. He is very well connected with the Aswan community and I could organize my visits directly with him which made it so easy to enjoy the time in Aswan. A big plus, at the hostel, there are canoe available from the terrasse to enjoy solo trips in the Nile. Very cool.

This is really nice location next to Nubian village. The houses, rooms and everything within the hotel area is so nicely painted. It is clean and the staff is very polite being there for you. The hotel has different locations where you can sit and enjoy your free time. We tried some delicious food and drinks in their restaurant. The breakfast was good with a beautiful view over the Nile river. Also, the night and morning walk around the hotel offers you some good options for shopping or just wandering around narrow streets full of life. Would absolutely come back.

The rooms were great; bathrooms were tiny but very clean. The guest house is located right beside the ferry. WiFi connectivity was excellent. Esraa was very friendly and eager to help; she would ask for our breakfast time and have it promptly ready by then. Would definitely recommend this clean gusethouse.

At Kafana we found the best possible experience of Asswan: - amazing view on the Nile and West Bank, with possibility of swimming in the river. The Nile was literally 3 meters away from our room’s door -great Nubian hospitality. Kafana and all his staff were always keen of helping us and making us feel at home. We received a valuable support to organize our activities in Assuan -very tasty Nubian cuisine, we had great breakfasts and dinner -new and simple rooms with perfectly working air conditioning, wi fi and all other comforts

The host Tamer was very attentive & friendly. He arranged our Abu Simbel trip and airport transfer for very competitive prices. The guesthouse has a very cute terrace where you can chill & meet the other guests. Rooms are also good value for price. Note that the guesthouse is located in a village, so in order to get to downtown you need to walk to the ferry station (only 5 min walk), but it only costs 10 egp and takes 5 mins and was one of the most authentic parts of the experience.

Everything, food is superior, in fact people come from all over aswan just to eat at this place and we were actually living there :) The whole island is really nice, veggie gardens around, some happy dogs and very happy cats, staff really helpful and friendly

We really LOVED the location and the people! The hotel is host by amazing people that help you in all the ways possible! The place is really nice, colorful and comfortable. The restaurant has a vast variety of amazing food and is well served, prices are competitive and just. The administration helped us in every way: to arrive to the hotel, to book an amazing tour on the area, even to have a taxi for the airport.

Everything from the location, staff, facilities, room was so lovely and memorable. It's like an oasis in the middle of the desert. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. The garden outside and the dog Bobby added a special charm to the place. The highlight of the breakfast was the fig jam/morabba. Abdou/Abdulla, a delightful young man, took wonderful care of us!

Everything was amazing, I loved the location as it is close to everywhere you can go to the Aswan center by a felucca (it’s faster and accessible all day along) … When you’re in Nuba live like the Nubians 😊 P.S. it was actually pet friendly, our cat enjoyed his time 😻

The manager, Mustafa (and his family), has a great heart and is lovely to share some words with him. Very kind and trustable person, he helped us to arrange Abu Simbel transport and also the cruise between Aswan and Luxor at very competitive prices. Nevertheless, his dedication and respect towards his clients is a highlight. Thank you very much for treating us so well, and we hope your place keeps fully booked :)
