Hacienda Guamag is set in a calm and beautiful place that has no road access and can be reached by tarabita. by crossing the gorge with a beautiful view over the waterfall you leave hassle behind and enter beautiful place run by a super host Marcelo and his family. We traveled with two kids and they loved everything about the place - tarabita ride, trout pond to fish own dinner, swing under the tree. The room was also very nice with two big comfortable beds. excellent stay! highly recommended.

Very good hotel with everything you need. First of all we were able to checkin earlier without any problem because of our night bus. The room is huge and very clean and they provide water, coffee and tea. The location is perfect in the city center and the price for what you get is amazing, that’s why we extended our stay over and over again.

We loved the location. 10 minutes walk to Centro. Felt like you were in the country side. Beautiful views. Cows. Dogs were entertaining to watch. Try for room 5. Big balcony facing west for afternoon sun. Very clean. Great bed. Breakfast for 3 dollars was good. Should change up the croissants though as they were the same thing all 4 mornings. Freddy the owner was very helpful upon check in. Elena and Marco were exceptionally nice. Very polite, helpful and professional. Met some great travelers at breakfast and shared recommendations. Highly recommend Casa santa lucia. Thank you.
