The hosts were absolutely wonderful – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. From the very first moment, it felt less like staying at an accommodation and more like visiting friends. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for, and their hospitality made our stay truly special. What did you not like? Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Quite little getaway spot a little walk away from the beach and the main drag, Azuluna Ecolodge offers a perfect hideout for a day or two, or five like for me. I think I was the only guest in the house, and had the whole dorm to my self. Kitchen was still open and the staff provided me with excellent foods with reasonable prices.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The host was super sweet and hospitable. He made me breakfast early because I had a diving tour booked, and when I returned to pick my bags up he gave me water and a chocolate bar just out of kindness. He made sure I got a tuktuk to the bus terminal without getting ripped off and he helped me with my bags. The room was really clean and comfortable and the shower was always hot. The fan was really good which is a necessity as it gets so hot! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Puerto López!
