The hidden river is a must, you can swim and chill in the middle of the nature. Ernesto helped us a lot, gave us explanations about animals around and place to visit. The lodge itself was fine, a bit basic but it was very spacious with a nice deck. But what really makes it worth your stay is the beautiful garden!! Birds everywhere such as toucans, aracari and parrots but you can also see horses, lizards, butterflies and more. Elias is a really kind host who helped us book a wonderful night tour and we can also recommend the breakfast. Rio Celeste is just around the corner. Overall really great value for your money!!

It is indeed one of our best stay during a 3 weeks travel in Costa Rica. It has all - beautiful, very comfortably equiped houses, perfect restaurant, amazing cacao field surroundings, wonderful nature and birds, great people, very interesting tours and a relaxing little spa. This beautiful accommodation is very spacious, well equipped for cooking and close to the main road while also right next to nature. Our hostess, Maria, took great care of us and even offered a cheap ride to the national park, which is worth a visit. While we only understand a few bits of Spanish, communication with her was easy and joyful!

Fabulous little house with all the facilities you need. Simple but cosy and feeling comfortable and homely. Diego and his wife are wonderful kind hosts who assisted us in many ways. We can't recommend them enough. The house is right on one edge of town near all the shops and a couple of bars restaurants and very easy access to the Volcan Tenorio. Off road parking was useful too.
