Our late night arrival was no problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable and only a 2 minute walk from the absolutely empty beautiful beach. The old ficus tree in the garden is amazing.

From the time of reservation communication was exemplary and we were provided with a lot of information about the area and things to visit. We found Mary to be a great host, welcoming, informative and always making sure we had what we needed, while respecting our privacy. We had everything we needed in our room and the adjacent outside area for cooking and relaxing. There is a little dipping pool, perfect for cooling off throughout the day. The beach on the other side of the road is lovely, a perfect place to have a coffee in the morning.

Markus was a great host, which is not a given in Costa Rica. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen well equipped, the beds large. I would recommend ordering dinner in addition to breakfast. The whole place is located in the jungle where you can take a great hike to the waterfalls where no one else will disturb you. So you can go for a short trip here or just relax by the pool which is big enough for swimming. One of our best accommodations in Costa Rica and we would love to come back.

The staff… Sylvia’s and Javier are amazing and made the stay worthwhile. The quiet and private location with great access to beach, The breakfast inclusion is a delightful addition to the stay!

this property is exceptional! they have it so very nicely decorated and very clean. everything one needs is at hand. The beach is fabulous. Just in front of the property and very quiet. The water temperature is perfect. And this is a very pet friendly facility!

almost everything! good a/c and fan, working fridge, perfect location: on one side the ocean, on the other side mangroves, most beautiful sunsets, nice pool, idyllic garden, facilities for pastimes like pool, table tennis or basketball, on site restaurant, lots of birds, iguanas and friendly dogs, helpful and friendly staff e.g. was offered a fresh coconut by the gardener
