really lovely apartment in a quiet location. the garden actually overlooks the nature reserve. we saw frogs, iguanas, capuchins and 2 anteaters just sat on the verandah outside the apartment. the apartment was very clean and well equipped. the hosts Adriana and Rodrigo were very friendly and Adriana showed us the wildlife in the garden. Fabian, who works for the hosts, took us on a wonderful canoe trip along the river and channels and pointed out loads of wildlife. he's very knowledgeable and also so friendly. he also took us on a walk through the reserve, which was really interesting and pointed out so much wildlife, he's so enthusiastic, it was a joy to accompany him. you can arrange tours with him through the accommodation.

The room was super clean, cozy, and well-equipped. It had an air-condition which I was craving for in the middle of jungle. The bathroom is very clean. It did have a hot-water system but it only went up until 38 degrees Celsius.

The staff, Jorge and Luis were super friendly and helpful. They told us everything we need to know about tours and Tortugueiro. Best place to eat and go etc. And the rooms very confty and nice

The location within the village gave a real feel of being in the centre of the action and connected tot the hard-working people of tortuguero. Carlos is the best host you can wish: always able to help or come with nice stories ;and lovely empanada’s. Stay here if you come to tortuguero!

The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and informative. The loan of binoculars and capes was very helpful. Easy access to the National Park was great. The morning guide via the electric canoe was excellent. The guide was knowledgeable and answered questions fully.

From the moment I walked through the gate I felt in heaven. Beautiful garden, staff super friendly. Bed comfy, hammocks outside room where I watched hummingbirds in the garden and green macaws flying over. Little handwritten welcome notes and gifts of earplugs/chocolate was so sweet.

Location really good and central to tortugeuro. The house has Wi-Fi which was great. The air conditioning in the room it was situated in worked perfectly. The host provided towels for us which was very appreciated and left fresh bananas and mangoes.
