Pet-friendly hotels and homes in El Roble

A wonderfully equipped, comfortable and self contained accommodation with a stunning balcony view (including hummingbirds, a massive lizard, vultures, butterflies and many more animals!) I was only able to stay one night, but wish it had been longer! Highly recommend for anyone wanting peace in nature.

Sorry for the late review! We had the most wonderful time staying with Marc. We felt totally at home staying at Jane’s Beach Resort. Marc is a perfect host who cannot do enough for you. We spent four nights towards the end of our three week travelling in Costa Rica. He is a wonderful chef, and will provide you with a range of different foods. The setting is gorgeous, we had a beach view from our room, there is a large communal balcony that you can watch the sunset from. Every night we walked down to the beach from an entrance from his garden. We felt safe, welcomed and friendship. We are going to be returning to see Marc again. The location is perfect especially if you have a rental car, we drove from Tamarindo, which was only a couple of hours away. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing

We love everything here. This is not only a place to stay, but a place that truly makes you feel at home. Nana is the best host we ever had ☺️ There are many decorations in the room, and you can really see how much effort she puts into creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. There are also some areas where you can sit and relax. The kitchen has everything you need. Even though it’s a bit small, she try her best to provide all the equipment guests might want to use. During our trip, we were getting tired of eating out all the time, so we really appreciated having a kitchen in the accommodation, we could cook something simple and eat something healthy. There is also a supermarket not too far away, and we were able to walk there to get whatever we needed. Apparently 10mins walk to the town The bathroom is clean and tidy. She provides everything you might need, and there are plenty of hangers for towels and clothes. The bedroom is comfortable and cozy. Some people are sensitive to light or noise, but the room is dark enough and incredibly quiet at night. If you’re sensitive to light or sound, you’ll love it here, you can finally sleep free without an eye mask or earplugs. There is a parking spot right in front of the house, so we could park our vehicle safely. The neighborhood is safe and quiet as well. We have some unexpected issue need a place to stay longer in this area, she is really kind and let us stay longer as we need. She is thoughtful, pays attention to every detail, kind, friendly, and amazing. We feel lucky to stay at her place and being her guests. Oh, and she even made a dessert to welcome us (we saw the surprise when we open the fridge) Everything is perfect, and we highly recommend staying longer than just one night. If you want to escape the big city, like San José, this is the place for you. This is a place I will definitely return to if I travel to Costa Rica again in the future. Thank you Nana❤️
